Page after page of beautifully drawn horses in various poses, many of them are action poses.A few of the pictures feature riders but most are just of the horses--which was my preference.The drawings are large and easy to color, and there is also lots of background with mountains, trees, rocks and even rivers/streams.I am an adult colorer, but I think anyone from about the age of six would enjoy coloring in this book.I highly recommend it.

Really enjoy this book. Already had on-line print outs of a couple of pages. 10 pages of 30 have people included mostly riding. Much prefer pictures of only horses. Wish markings hadn't been added as it restricts some coloring choices. Sidesaddle rider misidentified as dressage rider. Several horses in the style of the "wild" one on the cover, those are my favorites. Great price and much better than more expensive horse coloring books. Get a couple of these so you can do the same picture with different color choices. These Dover Coloring Books are fun and bargain priced.

I purchased this for my Aunt because she likes to color and I found this adult coloring book. She loves Horses and this book has beautiful pictures of horses. I gave it to her and she loves it. It has 32 pages and the paper feels thick enough to color. It also says that it is for 7 to 11 year olds, which does not make any sense to me. She is in her 60's. There isn't anything childish about the book. I do feel that the book is appropriate for any age. And like I said, my aunt couldn't wait. She says that coloring calms her nerves, so it is like therapy to her. I am happy with my purchase, would recommend, and would buy items from this Seller again.

I want to learn to draw horses, and this book is going to help AND be a coloring book all in one! It's really lovely! The only minor negative is that it is printed on both sides of the page, which means I need to photocopy every other page so I can have a clean copy, or buy multiples of the book. This doesn't bother me, and won't bother kids. Be aware that colored pencils or crayons are the right medium, as anything else may bleed through to the picture behind it.I would give this 5 stars without hesitation if it were printed only on one side of each page.

However it would be perfect for an adult to. it will give her something to do when it's rainy outside. Perfect for any horse lover. I originally purchased this because my girls love horses, but when the book arrived, the graphics were waaaaaayyyyy better than I thought they would be! These pictures are realistic and gorgeous pictures of horses in all sorts of work environments, play, and positions! Will definitely be buying from the Dover publications again!

This may be my new favorite coloring book! I have loved horses since I was a little girl. The horses in this book are beautiful, I get bored really easily and this book has plenty of pictures that aren't too intricate but give just enough detail to hold my interest. Coloring these horses is so relaxing and fun. It brings me back to my days working on an Arabian horse ranch. I can get lost for hours coloring. My son and I really enjoy sitting together and choosing what color to color the grass or the mane. If you like horses and coloring you need to get this book! The price point is perfect and it is a great value! I would definitely buy other books from this author and this seller again.

I was thinking I was purchasing a 3.5 PHB (or Player's Handbook) for D&D, but apparently I was wrong and ended up with 3.0. Nonetheless, it has all the incredibly vital information a player needs to make a character. All of it. Aside from a DMG (or Dungeon Master's Guide), this book is all you need to make a basic D&D character. There's a few things that have been updated in 3.5 that 3.0 doesn't have, but I haven't sat down and looked those things up yet. It's practically the same book, only with several different pictures in it. If you're just starting out in D&D, then this book is key. You don't need any other book (the Dungeon Master, or DM, is the only one who needs the DMG). All the other books are just icing and flavor. The Races books (Races of the Wild, Races of Stone, etc), Monster Manuals (I-IV), Book of Vile Darkness/Exalted Deeds, and so on and so forth are just fun extras. The DM might want to own a Monster Manual or two, but all they have are stats for monsters if the DM feels like being lazy and doesn't make up the stats on his own. Some people prefer having all those rules and stats handy, some don't want or need them. It's up to the DM to decide that.But the bottom line is this: everyone that wants to play needs this book. It has stats for your character's class as you progress through the levels, as well as feats, skills, spells and their descriptions for when they do level up. On top of that, it has rules for movement types, rules on engagement with enemies, alignment (again, if your DM is a stickler for rules/realism) and statuses--like forced march, and the weight of their weapons and armor (if the DM is a stickler for realism). No one can play Dungeons & Dragons without this book--not the DM, not the players. Having at least one copy is important, and the more players bring their PHBs, the better--it makes for less time of people asking to pass it to them so they can look at their spells/feats/skills/whatever.

It's about time.WOTC has applied their lawyerly precision to the granddaddy of all role-playing games, and the result can only be described as cathartic.The first impression a veteran gamer will have is that the visuals, the feel of the game have been given a major upgrade. Quality art and image are a definite plus in the RPG world and this book's art and layout is a major leap from such dismal products as the previous version of the Player's Handbook.Diving into the rules, it becomes immediately apparent that making the game simpler and faster was a major priority. All classes now advance in levels at the same rate. Character attributes have been streamlined, the original six saving throws have been cut to three intelligently defined categories. Combat now has one (1!) initiative roll for an entire encounter. Annoying complexities like weapon speeds and size-based damage have been eliminated. Combat encounters will no longer bog down on die rolls and flipping through tables, although players will very likely be asking for more time to consider the many more tactical options they now have.The flexibility of the new rules is almost alarming. A DM under the old rules was forever looking for rules to say "no, you cannot do that" to a particularly innovative player. The combat tactics and feats in the Third Edition emphasize trade-offs. If a high level fighter wants to use all of the attacks he is allowed in a round, his movement is restricted. If a person chooses to switch weapons in combat they must now consider how they switch (sheath the old weapon, or drop it?) and what they switch to (missile weapon? Melee weapon?). Poor choices could allow an opponent an "attack of opportunity," a marvelous addition to combat rules which adds all sorts of new dimensions to the standard "charge and attack" mentality. Race/level restrictions are gone - be anything you want, but some combinations are better than others. Gain attribute points as you increase levels, multi-class as you go along... It makes a DM's head spin.The clarity of the rules, particularly in a topic as historically dreadful as spells is very impressive. While I am certain that my players will (as ever) come up with exotic ways of twisting a particular spell description, it is gratifying to see that spell descriptions have been made less ambiguous. The integrated layout (thankfully alphabetized across all levels and classes) eliminates previously standard questions like "anyone remember what level Wall of Force is?" as well as maddening entries like "This spell is exactly like the 4th level wizard spell of the same name..." (argh!).The new PH contains twenty-odd pages at the end that give a skeletal view of creatures, magic items, and other essentials to begin Third Edition play immediately without the new DMG. They are an unfortunate and necessary workaround the release schedule of TSR. It is aggravating to read the section disclaimer and think that these pages in your brand-new book might contain rules that will be superceded, or discarded as soon as next month.That aside, as a veteran of eighteen years of campaigning, I'm thrilled to have the new edition Player's Handbook on the shelf. It's a revision that will add new players to the fold, and serve as a shot in the arm for long-time gamers.

When designing a game, there are two rules to stick to. The first is to make it interesting, or else nobody will play. The second is to remember that it's a game. With the first edition rules, TSR pretty much ignored the first rule, opting to make more and more overpowered character templates, ultimately making the game far too large and unwieldy to use. With the second edition rules, they forgot the second element--I'd rather read most of the second edition rules than try to use them in the game--and the game became equally difficult and unwieldy. Now, just maybe we finally have a system that can stand on its own and still be deep and interesting. These are certainly the best base rules I've ever read for any gaming system, bar none. The classes are balanced and the rules are clear and easy to understand. Most of all, a lot of the arbitrary restrictions (which most DMs ended up waving anyway) from 2nd edition are gone now, giving you the freedom to create the character that you want and cutting back on the house rules phenomenon that was encouraged to destructive levels with previous editions. I own most of the supplementary products that they've released to date as well, and I still think that I'd prefer to stick with the base rules--they're interesting enough as they stand, and they make the game much easier to play than it has been in the past. While the presentation can get a little hard to deal with at times (those lined pages only through me once or twice), overall this is an excellent product, and a great new edition.

About the Author

Author, Brian A. Beale, and his wife, Mary, were so excited about having their first child when they were thrown life's biggest curveball with just five words; "Your son has Down syndrome." Not long after receiving this news, Brian wiped the tears from his eyes, realized nothing was going to change the love he had for his newborn son, and set out to turn this experience into a positive one. Brian and Mary founded a non-profit foundation to raise the awareness of Down syndrome and how much these individuals have to offer society, while donating the proceeds to special needs organizations. While starting this charitable initiative is good, Brian always knew he wanted to do more to raise awareness and acceptance of Down syndrome, particularly among school-age children. With a Bachelor's Degree in English and a passion for writing, Brian decided to write his first children's book in an effort to open up the lines of communication between parents and teachers with their children regarding the sensitive and often very delicate subject of Down syndrome and special needs. Brian decided all the illustrations in the book would be completed by individuals with Down syndrome, which truly exemplifies what they can do if just given a chance. This heartwarming book brings awareness to not only children but adults, with a story of what a child with Downs Syndrome is capable of accomplishing. Prigogine's writing is the height of academic arrogance, a parade of knowledge at the expense of clarity. If you are looking for order here, you will only find chaos.

This is the most important book I have read. As a scientist/engineer for the past 50 years, I have read extensively and, since I consider myself a student of reality with an openness to religious interpretations, I find Prigogine's final two books outstanding. His first book, From Being to Becoming was short as explanation of reality that is viewed as "being" but best understood as "becoming". However, Order Out of Chaos and his final book, The End of Certainty, are must reads for anyone wishing to challenge the small minded atheists who purport to be scientists.

This book was written to address the fatal flaw in the theory of evolution—the law of entropy, accepted as one of the fundamental laws of the universe. Evolution says that life proceeds from simple to complex, while entropy says just the opposite. Both cannot be true. Most evolutionists choose to ignore it. Prigogine, although he is an evolutionist, chooses to face it. He says ( page 5) “we can only proceed by guesswork” ( p14) “... Of course, the problem of the origin of life remains a difficult one, and we do not think a simple solution is imminent…. The first two parts of this book thus deal with two conflicting views of the physical universe: the static view of classical dynamics, and the evolutionary view associated with entropy.” (p15) “A confrontation between these views has become unavoidable…. We can no longer avoid this confrontation” However, at the conclusion, he says (p301) … As we have written at the start of this chapter, our feeling of intellectual security has been shattered. (p311)… we cannot describe for you the world as we would like to see it, but only as we are able to see it…

This is a powerful big picture macro- and micro- cosmic book of insights into not only physics and science, but it also a deeper insights into how life itself, even our day to day work and creativity formulates.

I was disappointed in this book because of the quality of the photos. All the photos were black and white, which is OK, but they were very poor quality and small. You could not see the detail they were expressing in the text. The cover of the book was in high quality detail and in color. They should have spent the money on the content.

I am a "senior" who decided to try 3D printing as a hobby. I wanted something that would be a mental challenge as opposed to a physical challenge that this 75+ body would likely object to. Because I had absolutely NO prior knowledge of the 3D printing subject area, I speculated that learning the appearance of a "failure" and how to correct it was likely fundamental to having fun with and moving toward good use of 3D printing activity.The book,"3D PRINTING FAILURES: How to Diagnose and Repair All 3D Printing Issues" gave me a great foundation for learning the correct way to approach the proper use of a small DIY (Do It Yourself!) 3D printer. I seriously question whether the book covers ALL 3D printing issues.Actual experience is likely the ONLY way to ACTUALLY learn to effectively utilize any 3D printer. However, this book certainly seems to have significantly reduced the learning time for me. Since the entire subject was completely NEW to me, I truly NEEDED fundamental and basic information with extensive and simple explanations which did not assume a lot of prior knowledge of the terminology and procedures. It is my opinion that this book supplies that need and desire for me. I recommend its purchase.

Good book and it does appear the author knows what he is talking about, but I rally wish it had some good color pictures. It doesn't. I know book publishers are cheap and don't want to spend a dime more than required, but that IS required here and this book doesn't have it. Still helpful, but could be MUCH better.

Surprising comprehensive!I've actually done quite a bit of 3d printing but I still learned some new tricks and fixes for printing problems. This book feels like it's geared towards beginners and intermediate skill levels but I think even 3d print pro's might learn a thing or two.This is the kind of book you keep next to your desk when you can't be bothered digging through forum after forum of "I have that same problem." You get answers from just a few pages away.Highly recommended if you can't figure out why your prints keep failing.*One thing to note is that everything in this book focuses on FDM printing. So if you don't have one you may not get as much out of this book.

The Reflection sections clarified the readings (Biblical and others). Alpha and Beta concepts helped with understanding the history. Well researched. Not a quick read, but worth while for thoughtful readers of the Bible

The book gives a very good picture of life at the time Jesus lived, using important literature not often seen. What is important for me is that hengives bible verses followed by his own reflections on their meaning. He shows how the actual life and messages of Jesus were changed and modified by the people who lived after him. I think it would be an ideal book form bible study because it gives bible verses followed by his own reflections in a way that opens them up for further thought and reflection. I believe this would lead to a far better understanding of Jesus and his actual way of thinking.

I had high hopes for this book believing that it would actually cover the first 80 years, but it left me high and dry with many miscues. Bruce Brooks has used one of the worst translations of the New Testament: The American Standard Version which is so flawed it is never used by Biblical scholars. The first head of the Jerusalem church was James, the half brother of Jesus, not "Jacob." I have no idea how he got that but here's Brooks words corrected by me. "Jesus' disciple Levi Alphaeus, [he was actually "Matthew," a tax collector of the tribe of Levi] a tax collector and thus experienced in administration, died early [that's not true - where's the citation?]. He was replaced by his brother Jacob, [wrong] who from then on coordinated the Galilee part of the movement [no evidence of that]. From that base in Capernaum, he sent out a letter to the churches [no such letter exists]: gathering of "brethren," members of the new family of the saved, which met in somebody's home, or maybe the local synagogue [no citation because it doesn't exist and was fabricated by author. [The first substantial church in Israel was begun by James, the half brother of Jesus, and he became the first bishop in Israel, whom Paul identifies in Galatians and in other letters, and visits him in Jerusalem to receive the permission to convert pagan gentiles to the new church [acts 15]. This book is so flawed I'm not even going to address any more of it.I do, however, highly recommend a true Jesus scholar, Paul Frederikson's outstanding book, "When Christians Were Jews: The First Generation." Her's is one of the best covering this topic!

I bought this book because I first read the author's 'Wolves at the door' which I considered a very good book. This book was rediculous in its concept, research and writing. I gave up when a Japanese fighter bomber did a lazy 8 maneuver over his target evaluating if it was worth bombing and the maggot infested, petrefying bodies that had been dead for hours. The inconsistencies were unending making the 'tale' unbelievable.

Another story about a POW in Asia. Why do I read them? I t seems that I learn something new with each book. I am slowly figuring out why Japanese prison guards acted the way they did.

For such clever monkeys, we humans do have our stumbling blocks. War, for one. When will we ever learn to stop torturing and killing ourselves over which end of the egg to crack? BELLY is a tremendously moving account of the reality of war. The book tells us of the experiences of one Estel Myers, a very ordinary young man from a very ordinary small town in the very ordinary mid-west.BELLY begins when Estel enlists in the Navy, where he becomes a pharmacists mate. Initially stationed in China, he was sent to the Phillipines in time for Pearl Harbor and the Japanese onslaught in the Pacific. When MacArthur pulled his infamous scarper, abandoning tens of thousands of U.S. soldiers, nurses and civilians, Estel was captured by the Japanese. He spent two hellacious years as a POW in various camps in the Philippines, lived thorugh the Bataan Death March, survived internment on 3 slave ships and further imprisonment in Japan and Manchuria.This is tough book to read. The treatment of the GIs is so horrific and their suffering is so painful,it needs to be taken in small doses. The Japanese, a people of such remarkable sensitivity and unbending codes of conduct lowered themselves to the level of jackals. How do you justify that kind of brutality? Is war an infection that strips us of humanity? How else do we explain Auschwitz? Mai Lai? Rwanda? Every nationality, every race, every tribe has succumbed to the poison. No one is innocent or immune, and only an exceptional man could keep a standard of decency when surrounded by that level of bestiality.Estel Meyers' heroism had no grandiosity. All around him, desperate men were fighting to the death over a mouthful of water, a bite of rice, a cigarette. Estel never lost his humanity. His small mercies...throwing his shirt to a guy blistered raw in the sun, sharing a precious sip of water...were daily events. He didn't give up, he didn't give in. He figured out how to make things better, scrounged and pilfered first aid supplies, food, medicine, and he shared them. He worked out better food distribution so weaker prisoners could get a share. He went up against Japanese soldiers and officers of his own military. He refused to stop being the decent guy he was, no matter the circumstances. No grandstand plays, no adrenaline fueled savagery. Estel Myers was a man in full. He went through a hell most of us could never imagine and he came out with his head high and without losing a shred of his compassion and humanity. Compared to him, Rambo is a candy-ass in petticoats.One or two reviewers take issue with "Belly," saying that author Judith Pearson doesn't get all her facts right. I think her focus was on the humanity, not the dates of battle. If there are mistakes, my ignorance made me oblivious. Okay, so it's not Baedeker's Guide to WWII. Read it for the humanity, not the battle zone topography.(Interesting factoid: The slave ships used to transport POWs were used to transport Japanese troops. Japanese soldiers underwent the same suffocating, shoulder-to-shoulder confinement. They also received minimal food and water, although of course, their rations were infinitely better than the below-starvation level slops given Allied prisoners. Treatment and conditions that I thought unbearably cruel (and which drove American prisoners to madness)were accepted by the fatalistic Japanese soldiers with equanimity...an almost mindless stoicism. I'm gonna have to more reading about the WWII experiences from a Japanese soldier's POV.)

My dad loved this book. What those guys dealt with — all my respect.

Much research on this one. We are lucky that this bit was researched after hostilities. Most was new to me.. One cannot say they enjoyed the book, but was glad to learn of it.

WOW more and more information comes out about WW II and the treatment by human beings to others.

History that should never be forgotten.

I felt very drained and it took a toll on my emotions. It is almost unbelievable what treatment man will inflict on his fellow men when there is no holds bared. Also what man can live through and still be livingafter such treatment. I have huge admiration for the men who survived.

Information about Pompeii is conveyed in one long narrative arbitrarily divided into three chapters. There is a brief description of what a volcano is and how it works, followed by a fictionalized account of what the people in Pompeii were doing on the day of the eruption and what happened to the inhabitants when Vesuvius blew up. The final chapter gives some information about the rediscovery of Pompeii and its excavation by archaeologists. In an attempt to simplify the ideas in the book, Kunhardt has oversimplified the prose. Sentences are choppyalmost joltingand reminiscent of a basal reader. Pronunciation guides are given in the text in a jarring manner: ``These pictures are called mosaics. Say: mo-ZAY-iks.'' The cartoonlike illustrations are colorful and attractive, but they are not clearly drawn or labeled. This book doesn't work as a picture book or as nonfiction. I'm going to go against the main stream of opinion here. Seriously...what age group were they aiming at? This book is written to a 5 year old, but it goes into great detail about people burning to death.I've enjoyed the Step Into Reading series as it has been a DK light for some interesting topics, sort of like a mini-encyclopedia on the topic with good pics that is appropriate for a wide range of ages.But this is a story that has to be read, and it is a scary story for little people. However, the facts and details are presented in a "baby" form that will not appeal to an older child who is curious about the science.I afterschool tutor and stock my shelves with quick reference books, but sadly, this book will collect dust on my shelf or be tossed in the bin. This is NOT a good reference for chilidren for Pompeii.

Well written. My 5 year old is into volcanoes and he found this book engaging, with just the right amount of text and detailed illustrations. The only thing that's really scary for someone that young is how archaeologists poured plaster into these strange holes at Pompeii and discovered that the holes were negative space created by corpses that had rotted away slowly after sediments/lava had accumulated. There's only 1 page of that. Otherwise, a good read. Would recommend for a young avid reader who can puzzle through it by him/herself.

Wonderful for a volcano-loving new 1st grader. A good level for autumn in 1st grade for a medium speed reader.Besides teaching the kids history and a bit on volcanoes, the book is a good conversation starter on the Roman empire, volcanoes, living in a dangerous area (like San Francisco) and slavery. The school likes to make my kid read Clifford the red dog and similar happy but slightly nonsense stories. I like that this book gives the kids a chance to reflect on how their life is compared to the people of Pompeii. Why were people willing to take the risk of living on a volcano? YES - we read it a lot

My five year-old LOVES this book! I especially appreciate the simple, clear discussion of the science involved in volcanoes. I read it to my son's kindergarten class and it seemed like about 85% of the kids loved it and 15% were scared. Note: the book does detail the loss of human life, including showing depictions of dead bodies. It doesn't bother my son at all, but it might bother a sensitive kid.

My 2nd grader loves most anything non-fiction and these style books are perfect for him to read alone and challenge himself while exploring or we can read them together so we can have some dialogue along the way. These Step into Reading leveled books offer a lot of topics that are sure to have you find a topic to interest your child. This one fits great for the history buff child.

And so do adults, I bought this for my grandson's , I had actually visited Pompeii because as a young child I had heard all the stories. When we talked about volcano's and I explained what I had seen and know, the boys immediately wanted a story about it.Being a former children's librarian, I know little people like the real fact's not just stories. Even reluctant reader will listen to a book filled with facts about the subject they love. It was the right answer to many questions

Except for the fact that this book doesn't cover all the Pompeian’s who DID heed the warning signs that Vesuvius was about to blow (the majority of the estimated population of 10,000 to 15,000) I use it as a creative writing prompt for students up to 5th grade. It has plenty of sensory details and images of everyday life back then. After I read it, I ask students to write a first-person POV account of the day before the eruption. Especially inspiring because archeological discoveries dove-tail with Roman historian Pliny the Younger's written account, encouraging them to view journal writing as a form of history..

Believe it or not but this has been my 6 year old's book for all times . Of the pile of books she reads out loud to me every day ,she always includes this book and understands it better every time when we discuss what she want to from the book.

About the Author

Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Easter isn't about candy and my kid didn't buy it when I was telling him this- but the good ol' Bernstein Bears taught him that Easter is about the fact that JESUS IS ALIVE. When I was trying to explain it myself, I was focusing too much on the death and crucifixion. This book helps young kids focus on the resurrection- what Easter is truly about. I'd repurchase this book 100 times over. We read it every morning and every night just before bed.

So I was looking for a good Easter story to read to my children. This book was more for K who is 9 rather than A who is 3.I didn't realize that the Berenstain books had some religion in them, I grew up reading these books and have never seen this in a story before. That did not turn me away from it as I wanted K to learn what Easter was really about but in a way that he would understand. This was perfect for that because Easter is just not about candy it is about Jesus and him raising from the dead three days later. This book did a wonderful job with describing the meaning of Easter and K had a few questions but not too many.Now it says there is a sticker set with this book I bought the ebook and there was no sticker set included so do not expect that with the ebook but more for the paperback.Now if you are not big into religion then this book will not be for you, if you are introducing your child/ren or are big into religion and want something read this will be good for you.K's questions and answers.Did you like the story? "Yes I did"Did you understand the story being told? "Yes it was about Jesus and not having candy."Would you read this book again? "Yes only at Easter."Would you recommend this book to your friends? "I think my friends would like this because they can learn about Jesus."

Super cute book and we love the Berenstain bears. My only complaint is that the end of the book doesn't tie in the plan of salvation with the resurrection. It just kind of leaves you hanging by saying something to the effect of "it just means that on Easter morning after you get your Easter baskets and candy, you will come to church and learn more about Jesus". I had to improvise the ending and add how Easter is really all about celebrating the resurrection of Jesus (when Jesus came back to life after dying on the cross) and how it proves He is God and if we believe in Him with all our heart and repent of our sins He will save us and bring us to heaven someday with Him. Candy, gift-giving and Easter baskets are just a small part of the celebration (just like at Christmas how we give gifts in honor of celebrating the birth of our Savior).

This is a nice Easter book for children. The only thing that kind of surprised me was the story of Easter and the other related characters including Jesus are all portrayed by bears. Usually in children's books I have found that Jesus and the related characters to his story are human, no matter the usual characters to a particular themed book.

Perfect to tell the story of Easter!

Brother, Sister and Honey Bear are dreaming/thinking/focused on all the different types of Easter candy even in Sunday school. When 'challenged' by the teacher to tell the rest of the class what else Easter is about there is a lot of head scratching! All they come up with are the words, "Bible Stuff"! It's time to learn some more! First step is to go to the class next door to watch the play The Easter Story.Yes, this book is Christian based providing the true account of the first Easter when Jesus died on the cross and rose again. Yes, it is scans of the original paperback book so five of the pages have double text showing the original text in the picture along with the separate, readable text. This book is VERY readable on the Kindle as the text has been typed in separately from the images. I'm just guessing that some of the original picture book texts could not be cropped enough so had to be left in.At the end of the book there are some activities and questions. Great book for those who enjoy the Berenstain Bears and want their children to grasp the true meaning of Easter. Thanks, Liz

PERFECT book for our kiddos. Talks about both the real meaning of easter, as well as the candy aspect of it. We used this to help us tell the story and bridge the gap with our 4 year old. very happy with this purchase.

I was looking for a book to explain Easter to my 4 and 5 year old. They have had very little time in the church but I wanted them to know why we really celebrate Easter. This book was perfect. It starts out talking about Easter eggs and candy but then explains the real story about Easter. It was not too complicated for my kids to understand but yet did a thorough explanation. This is a great buy for those who are christian but are unable to take their children to church.
