After searching around for a book on the Holy Spirit for myself and a friend to read, I ended up buying this book for her and I. Since then, she bought one for her husband and another mutual friend of ours. We love it! We have had so many quality discussions about this book. Most church's don't speak much of the Holy Spirit, and this book really opens your eyes to who HE is. There is also lots of biblical references made throughout the book, helping to validate what the author is saying. I highly recommend buying this book if you feel like your understanding of the Holy Spirit is lacking.
This is the best book I have ever read about the Holy Spirit.It has shown me how alive and helpful the spirit is on daily living,decisions I make, wisdom, his personality and the loveof Jesus. This could make the unbeliever want salvationand have a life of joy, peace, understanding that this world willnot be perfect until Jesus returns and we see him face to face.Thank You
This book gives clear teaching about the Holy Spirit. What I particularly love, is that the author backs up everything he says with tons of scripture. I really want to be able to see what scripture says, not just what a person has to say. I highly recommend!

This book is something every born again believer needs to read and study. It is so important to know all the attributes of the Holy Spirit, who he is as the 3rd member of the God head. This book gives us the picture of all He does in, through and for us, with accompanying scriptures. Some to the mystery of God, 3 in 1, with the 3 aspects of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I am reading , re=reading and learning so much i pray you all gain as much as i am finding. Leading me into a deeper relationship with God and showing in my everyday life.
John Bevere used scripture excellently(!)* to explain who the Holy Spirit is and how he operates.For instance, I wanted a more scriptural understanding of speaking in tongues and towards the end of the book he provided relevant scriptures and explained them well. He explained the significance of details within the Scriptures he cited without stretching them. For example, he highlights that if Simon in Acts 8 was about to pay money in order to have the ability to lay hands on people that they would receive the Holy Spirit, then there was most likely some significant, outward manifestation that happened when people received the Holy Spirit!He also includes lists of when the Holy Spirit is mentioned in Acts and names used for the Holy Spirit which I found helpful in understanding Him. Overall I felt like this book really helped me understand the Holy Spirit better, and I really appreciated that it was all based on Scripture too.This is a must read for all Christians regardless of how well you think you understand the Holy Spirit! If nothing else it presents the Holy Spirit in a way that if you took some notes and wanted to explain the basics of the Holy Spirit to others you could know where to open up your Bible and let the Bible speak for itself.*The only two points he made that were a little shaky to me were his short points about freedom and the Holy Spirit as a dove. I'll let you read for yourself and see what you think.
This book is opening my eyes, and my heart is blossoming. Yes, I am a lay person who, despite a rich prayer life, is just beginning to understand that my best friend is the Holy Spirit. As I come to understand His prominent role and power (WOW!), I am both humbled and empowered. Thankful for this book that offers insight from The Book, and for the Holy Spirit for helping me know it’s true!
This is an amazing teaching on the Holy Spirit. This book has brought more insight and understanding to me than any other teaching. It is easy to understand, but rich in-depth material and scriptures.
