I got this book because I was having transmission problems and I wanted to tackle the job myself but it was more than I can figure out using only common sense.. No surprise there. The book turned out to be very helpful. Lots of useful pictures. Lots of useful details. Lots of useful information on everything from oil changes to transmission overhaul. The book isn't structured with a particular job in mind so like in my case I had to jump back and forth between chapters to read on the different tasks involved the removal and replacement of the transmission. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a bike and is able to read 6th grade English.
I've only used it one time so far. It was very useful for my oil change. I need to get inside my fairing next . I've scanned through it for that , and it seemed to have what I need. So far so good. I don't plan on any engine rebuilds ,just basic maintenance and repairs. If you have some mechanical skills and order the right manual for your bike it seems ok.
Tells you most of what you need to know to do your own bike repairs. What this book doesn't show you is easy to find on the internet but having something tangible to look at while doing the job is a must in my eyes. I use mine to keep notes on things plus I don't have to practically memorize the job I'm doing like you do when using the internet.
I love this book. It has way more pictures than your harley made manual. Must have if you are doing the maintenance on your bike.
The book is very helpful. Their was a little bit of damage to the book it was cut wrong at the bottom. It is still readable so I did not return it !
Always good, Clymers are not as good as factory manuals but good enough. At 20% of the price....best deal going. Merchant was great. Product as described. Great transaction.
